About the Role

We are now looking for a General Practitioner for the Gagnef Health Center. Welcome to apply to our fantastic team!

We have approximately 10,400 registered patients. Around 50 employees work in various professional categories at our center. We have 8 Specialist Doctors and 8 Senior Residents (ST-läkare) and offer a well-established training environment.

The Health Center has a broad mandate including an Assessment Vehicle, Family Center, Rehabilitation Unit, Counseling Clinic, and several nurse-led specialist clinics. The center is characterized by a good working atmosphere and excellent collaboration. We are keen on ensuring that you, as a new employee, feel like a part of our team. We are looking for a General Practitioner for a pleasant and well-functioning Health Center where we work in an integrated and development-driven manner with the ambition to do the best for our patients together. Commuting options are available via public transport such as trains and buses, as Gagnef is located on the Stockholm–Mora route.

Responsibilities

As a General Practitioner with us, you will work with varied and meaningful tasks within primary care. At our center, you will have your own patient list where you build long-term continuity. Together with your colleagues, you will care for patients of all ages based on need. There is an opportunity to deepen your expertise in different areas of responsibility. Mentoring, supporting resident doctors, and other professional groups is an important part of your duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• is a Specialist Doctor in General Practice
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing (Swedish C level)
• holds a valid B driving license

You are a competent doctor with a structured work approach and the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams. We prefer that you are a confident, flexible person who contributes to a positive atmosphere. You are unpretentious and team-oriented, share knowledge, and take responsibility for ensuring that team collaboration works well – even when the pace is fast. You communicate well with your colleagues and patients. You have an interest in mentoring future colleagues and want to contribute to the development of our operations.
